Part 1: Key Role, Transition, Banking & Organization (November 2023) In this video you will learn all about your role as Treasurer, what you need to ask for in the transition, and more about how PTA as an organization and banking works with PTA.
Part 2: Budgeting and Reporting (November 2023) In this video we will take a deep dive into PTA budgeting and reporting. This will be your guide to creating a successful PTA budget to get you through the school year. It will also teach you how to build and deliver your reports to the Executive Board & the General Association.
Part 3: Financial Procedures (November 2023) In this video we will take a deep dive into the financial procedures of being a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the State of California. These procedures are common in all non-profits, that is why we are taking the time to get you up to speed on these important procedures.
Part 4: Taxes and Other Compliance (November 2023) As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization you will need to file taxes and stay compliant with many organizations - California State PTA, the Franchise Tax Board, the IRS, and more. While this sounds daunting, we will make it easy for you to learn and seamless to stay compliant so your PTA can continue to do positive things for children and families.
