Bylaws Update Workshop
If your PTA's Bylaws have not been updated in 5 years, no longer reflect how your PTA operates, or you simply want to understand how bylaws are updated, Sixth District welcomes you to join our Bylaws Update Workshop. We will review a PTA Bylaws template, the bylaw update process, and the most frequent reasons why updates are not approved.
The workshop will be on Wednesday, October 9 at 7pm via Zoom. Please register by Sunday, October 6. A Zoom link will be sent to you a day or two before the training. Questions? Please email parliamentarian@capta6.org

These procedures are common in all non-profits, that is why we are taking the time to get you up to speed on these important procedures.
Part 4: Taxes and Other Compliance (November 2023) As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization you will need to file taxes and stay compliant with many organizations - California State PTA, the Franchise Tax Board, the IRS, and more. While this sounds daunting, we will make it easy for you to learn and seamless to stay compliant so your PTA can continue to do positive things for children and families.
